Ann McKinley

  Mortgage Banker

Ann has lived and worked in Austin since 1981. She began her professional career as a licensed real estate agent and ultimately managed the administrative sales staff of a local independent builder before transitioning into a decade-long career in Human Resource Management, with PHR and CCP designations.

In 1998 Ann was drawn back to the Real Estate industry, this time to the mortgage-side of the business. She learned loan origination from the ground up and found that her prior experience in Real Estate, coupled with the skills she honed as an HR professional – problem solving, attention to detail, and cultivation of personal connections – made the transition to mortgage banking an easy one. Ann has found success as a mortgage professional by building her business based solely on referrals and throughout her career has built a reputation of consistently closing loans on time.

Through the years, Ann has found that what she enjoys most about the mortgage business is educating her clients on the lending process. By consulting with them one-on-one she ensures they are not only getting the best mortgage available, but also one that helps them achieve their long term financial goals.  Ann is also committed to making sure each client has a great mortgage experience by doing her best to make the lending process informative, transparent, and manageable for everyone involved.

Ann received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Business Management from Austin Community College. She is very involved in her community, serving as Ambassador of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and also serves as Account Coordinator for the Cedar Park High School Celebrities Dance Team.

Outside of the office Ann enjoys a rich family life with her daughter, Lisa, currently enrolled at Cedar Park High School, her son, Scott, majoring in Computer Science & Math at UT-Austin and her husband Alec. Together they enjoy the outdoors as well as travel.
