Josh Brown

  Mortgage Banker

Bio

Josh has been successfully tailoring mortgages for Texas homebuyers for close to a decade. Early on Josh recognized his passion for the financial markets, and pursued a degree in finance from Texas A&M. He began his career in mortgage lending back in his home town of El Paso with one of the nation’s largest banks, and quickly become their #4 loan originator in the state of Texas. Looking to expand his career, Josh moved to Dallas, and eventual settled in Austin, where, through an Aggie alumni connection, Josh took a position with the Milestone Residential Mortgage (now Sente Mortgage) in 2005.

What Josh enjoys most about the business is being able to make the dream of home ownership a reality for his clients while making the seemingly complex process of home buying simple. Josh attributes his success as a mortgage banker in part to the support systems and management team in place at Sente. He feels that he has the tools and knowledge necessary to provide his clients with the best possible service. Because of Josh’s knowledge and passion for his business, he is recognized for top-notch service in the industry; his colleagues and clients providing him with a majority of his business in the form of referrals.

Josh has a BA in finance from Texas A&M. He lives in Austin– a city that he feels is a perfect fit for his personality. He is married to Shannon Brown, a nurse with Dell Children’s Medical Center. Together they enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer a young couple.
