Top 5 Reasons to Work With Cole Hall – Sente Mortgage
If you’re searching for a mortgage lender in the South Carolina low-country who genuinely understands veterans and first-time homebuyers, Cole Hall and his team at Sente Mortgage are the name buyers and real estate agents trust. A Charleston native who began his career in the United States Air Force, Cole serves veterans, active-duty service members, and families throughout Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, North Charleston, Goose Creek, Hanahan, and communities across Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. He brings a lifetime of service, and a real passion for helping families reach homeownership, to every loan he touches. Here’s why he should be your first call.
1. A Veteran Who’s Been on Your Side of the Uniform
Cole Hall didn’t learn to serve veterans in a training seminar. He’s lived it his entire career. He began in the United States Air Force in 2013 as an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in San Antonio, Texas, and finished his military service as an F-16 aircraft mechanic with the South Carolina Air National Guard. From there, he moved into a Branch Manager role at a local VA contracting company, providing, servicing, and maintaining medical equipment for veterans throughout the low-country. Every step of the way, Cole has been in service to the men and women who wore the uniform. Today he brings that same commitment to the mortgage process, so when you work with Cole, you’re working with someone who treats your service as more than a checkbox.
2. Specialized Expertise in VA Loans & First-Time Homebuyers
Whether you’re a veteran using your VA loan benefit for the first time or a first-time homebuyer trying to make sense of it all, Cole has the focus and product knowledge to guide you to the right path. He specializes in VA loans and knows the details that matter most: eligibility and the Certificate of Eligibility, entitlement, occupancy requirements, and the VA funding fee that many veterans with a service-connected disability may have reduced or waived. For eligible borrowers, a VA loan can mean no down payment, no monthly mortgage insurance, and competitive terms backed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. And for first-time buyers, Cole takes the time to explain every stage in plain language, so you always understand your options before you commit.
3. Honest, Transparent Communication From Start to Finish
Cole believes every homebuyer deserves the full picture, good, bad, and everything in between. He prioritizes educating his clients at each stage of the loan process so there are never unwelcome surprises. From pre-approval through closing day, he keeps buyers, real estate agents, and title companies informed and confident, and he makes himself available for the questions that come up along the way. When you work with Cole, you always know exactly where your loan stands.
4. Deep Roots in the Charleston Low-Country
As a Charleston native who lives and works in the communities he serves, Cole understands this region in a way that only a local can. And as a former VA contractor who covered the low-country, he’s spent years serving the people who live here. From the neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant and West Ashley to the growing corridors of Summerville, Goose Creek, and North Charleston, he knows local market conditions and the realities of buying a home here. When you’re making one of the biggest decisions of your life, it helps to have a Mortgage Banker who knows the ground you’re standing on.
5. Backed by the Resources and Support of Sente Mortgage: Your Lender for Life
At Sente Mortgage, Cole and his team have access to a wide range of loan products and a dedicated support team that shares his commitment to getting families into homes. Sente’s philosophy of putting clients first means Cole can focus on finding the right solution for your situation. And because Sente originates and services nearly all of its Conventional loans in-house, your loan stays right here with Cole and his team. That means they already know you and your financial picture when it’s time for your next purchase, refinance, or any other home financing need, making your next loan even quicker and smoother.
