Sente launched in 2007 during one of the most tumultuous times in the history of mortgage lending. While many companies were closing their doors, we launched with a different name and a different model.
Since its inception, Sente Mortgage had a vision to be a different kind of mortgage company - not just a place for mortgages, but a place to create financial possibility. In fact, it is one of the reasons the company is named Sente.
The name Sente comes from a term used in the ancient strategy game Go and represents the winning position on the Go board. We adopted the term Sente as the name for the company as a metaphor for helping people “win at their financial game” or, better said, create a strong financial situation. This concept eventually formed the foundation for our company’s purpose, “We Create Financial Possibility.”
Sente’s owners believed they could build a mortgage company that was purpose-driven, relationship-based, and ethically grounded. Sente not only survived, but thrived during this chaotic time because we started fresh and were able to predict what the mortgage landscape would look like in the coming years. Because of this, the company is grounded in its core values, and focused on high ethics and creating a 5-star experience for our customers, our partners, and our employees.

With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industries, Tom has a deep understanding of the mortgage marketplace, regulatory environment and customer journey, and is responsible for sales, customer success, and business strategy across the company.
Tom developed Sente to be a company with passion for customer success, and this is the foundation of the organization’s culture. He believes people are central to that success, and has made a commitment to education and training throughout the organization. One of his top initiatives is developing and implementing a mortgage banker Business Building Platform that generates a sustainable stream of business for loan officers and focuses on providing a 5-star user experience throughout the mortgage process.
Vice President of Strategic Growth
Kelly White is a certified business professional and has built a national identity as an entrepreneur, master trainer, business coach, mentor, advisor, role model and leader. She has over 20 years of executive level experience and accomplishments in the real estate and mortgage industries.
Previously, as Director of Talent Attraction for Better Homes & Garden Real Estate, she drove and supported individual franchisees growth through the attraction and retention of both newly licensed and experienced Real Estate Agents. She led the national talent attraction platform, lead generation programs, and was the subject matter expert on talent attraction and retention practices for the entire BHGRE system. During her tenure, she doubled net agent count in twelve months and was honored as #14 of the ELearning 100 Award for the Talent Attraction system and strategy she designed and implemented.
Before joining BHGRE, she was the COO of the nationally recognized GoodLife Realty in Austin, TX. In her role as COO, she was responsible for all brokerage operations including recruiting and retention. During her tenure, they received the 2010 Inman Award and were recognized as the “most innovative brokerage” in North America.
Vice President, Finance
Diana brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and experience to her position as Vice President of Finance for Sente Mortgage where she is responsible for Sente’s financial operations and reporting. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Diana began the rewarding career that brought her to Sente Mortgage. She has managed accounting teams for 24 years, from private to public, with positions that entailed a variety of industry experience, from manufacturing, retail, benefit administration, and recruiting. She also owned a packaging manufacturer for more than six years.
Outside of the office Diana enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and listening to live music.
