Giving back with Homes For Our Troops
At Sente, one of our core values is care so much we make a difference. One of the ways that we do that is supporting Homes for Our Troops (HFOT). Homes for Our Troops mission is to build mortgage free, specially adapted homes for severely injured Veterans post 9/11 to help them rebuild their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar donated to Homes for Our Troops has gone directly to programs for Veterans.
The most important reason we support HFOT is to express our deep appreciation for the veterans who continue to protect our country and our freedom. We recognize nothing can turn back the clock for those who have been injured, but we have a strong desire to help those who need it most as they rebuild their lives. We have committed to a donation for every VA loan we close to HFOT on a monthly basis.
Another way that we support Homes For our Troops is through an annual corporate fundraiser. In 2016 our employees, family members, and partners participated in the Central Texas Tough Mudder Half in order to raise awareness and funds for HFOT. Our team raised over $33,000 dollars in contributions to help support this organization.

About Homes For Our Troops
Homes for Our Troops is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans Post 9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar has gone directly to our program services for Veterans.Homes for Our Troops builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.
