Joe Brown

Joe worked as a Realtor for eight years until 1985 when he decided to concentrate on the mortgage-side of the business. This gives him a unique rapport with Realtors since he understands firsthand the demands of their business. Over the years, Joe has amassed a base of Realtors and satisfied clients who are extremely loyal. Joe founded the Austin branch of Milestone Mortgage in 1997 and is one of the founding partners of Sente Mortgage.

As the leader of the BrownHolland Team, Joe enjoys the process of consulting with clients to select a mortgage that best suits their current financial situation and long-term goals. He has been consistently ranked in the top 10 on the Chamber of Commerce Book of Lists for mortgage originators in Austin and in the top 1% of mortgage bankers in the United States since 1993. He has been a Certified Mortgage Advisor since 2006 and is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Bankers.

Joe graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and did graduate work at Pepperdine University while serving as an officer in the Navy for five years. He has a diverse range of interests including traveling, UT sports, playing guitar, snow skiing, golf, and scuba diving. Joe and his wife B.J. have two grown sons: Damon, a graduate of NYU, owns and oversees a sound company in Austin; Ray is currently attending medical school at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
