Scott Norman to Host “Sente Reverse Mortgage Show”

Tune in to Talk Radio 1370 AM this Sunday, April 7, for the debut

AUSTIN, Texas (April 1, 2013) – Sente Mortgage is pleased to announce that Scott Norman, vice president of their Reverse Mortgage division, will host the new “Sente Reverse Mortgage Show” debuting this Sunday, April 7, on Austin Talk Radio 1370 AM. This weekly show will air Sunday mornings, 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m., and provide information on reverse mortgage lending in Texas.

As a Texas reverse mortgage pioneer and longtime Austin mortgage banker, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the microphone. The “Sente Reverse Mortgage Show” will offer listeners the opportunity to participate in general discussions by calling or emailing questions to Scott on the topic of reverse mortgage.

About Scott Norman

Scott Norman led the original campaign to amend the Texas Constitution to allow reverse mortgages in the state in 1999, when he founded the Texas Association of Reverse Mortgage Lenders. He later closed the very first reverse mortgage loan in Texas in 2000. Over the past 14 years, Scott has testified numerous times about reverse mortgage lending before the Texas Senate and the Texas House of Representatives. In addition to his work in the Lone Star State, Scott has also worked with the legislatures of California, Arkansas, and Minnesota to help craft legislation to protect senior homeowners around the country.

Scott is serving his second term on the Board of Directors for the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) in Washington, DC.

A longtime Austin mortgage banker, Scott got his start in the mortgage business in Austin in 1993, later becoming president of the Austin Mortgage Bankers Association in 2005. In 2010, Scott was elected president of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.
